Any group of people who is led by someone who is a blood relative of the previous ruler is a kingdom. So, this blog will refer to Syria's Bashar Assad as King Bashar, and Kim Jong Il of North Korea as King Jong. By the same token, Senator Edward Kennedy is technically Prince Edward of Massachusetts.

I did and I didn't. There isn't a direct line of succession there, which is really what irks me.
But, on the whole, I am not happy with the intertwining of the Bush family with U.S. politics.
