My Entrepreneurial Non-Experience
Dane Carlson of Business Opportunities Weblog chose me for a 30 Second/One Question Interview:
One man's trash, is another man's treasure. What product or service have you imagined would be a good business opportunity, but you've rejected because it's too off the wall?
Answer: How about a fast food place that serves international pasta dishes in wraps so that they can be eaten without muss or fuss: pad thai as a burrito, bolognese as a soft taco, chow mein in a pita. Get the picture?
A disclaimer first: I'm a B-school professor. That makes me a wage slave by nature. So this might even be a good idea. It isn't that far off the wall (unless you make decent money and work banker's hours 9 months out of the year).
