If You Can't Ask the Right Questions ...

Wal-Mart has a site that explains why low prices are good for you.

Russ Roberts is right; this is where you need to go "If you want to know what's wrong with economics education in America".

This confirms something I dreamt up about a year ago: a large portion of the U.S. population has been conditioned to ask the wrong questions, and to actively avoid asking some of the right ones.

In the case of retailers, the primary question is whether they offer a comparable product at a lower price. Everything else is secondary.
