I inexplicably left Williamson off my list of micro folks the other day: I don’t know much about his work, but everyone knows he was the most heavily cited economist without a prize.
Ostrom is someone about whom I know nothing.
I’ve been having a lot of fun learning more:
- Marginal Revolution (also here, here and here)
- Knowledge Problem (and with more here).
- Kids Prefer Cheese
- Cheap Talk
- EconLog
- Expertly Wrapped
- Homeland Security Watch
I loved the bit from Kids Prefer Cheese: Elinor Ostrom has a single book that’s been cited 70 times as often as all my publications put together.
