There is a National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the Denver suburbs. It has a visitor center prominently noted on the sign on the interstate.
Two questions.
Why don’t we have a “national non-renewable energy laboratory”. Is segregation a good thing in this case?
If we did have a “national non-renewable energy laboratory”, would we spend taxpayer dollars on giving it a visitor center? I’m guessing that marketing of such a thing would not be politically popular.
