Here’s a lengthy obituary for Renaissance lyricist Betty Thatcher.
Interesting stuff about how she got started with the Yardbirds, and about the meaning of some of the songs.
Especially interesting is the bit about “Running Hard”, which is about having to walk a path between the train and the cliff in the dark:
