Word Tip # 21: Break a URL Across Lines

Any long word runs the chance of not fitting on the current line, and being shifted to the next line. This can make even justified text look lousy.

Microsoft has a fix for this. Just insert a “special character” called a “no width optional break” from the symbol menu.

This is especially useful for situations where you need to show an entire URL.
