In the nick of time, Italy has appointed an economist as Prime Minister. Faster than a speeding bullet, he’ll solve the economic problems created by Italy’s politicians.
Call me a cynic, but I think you can turn an economist into a politician by putting them in office; I don't think you can turn a politician into an economist by putting them in charge of economic policy.
The latter is how countries get themselves in trouble. The former is how economists get a bad rep.
Debra B - Well May is a great month for searevl reasons, first it both my parents birthdays, may 7 for my mother, and may 14 for my father, and unfortunately both have passed away, with my father just 2 months ago, but in spite of our loss we still will remember both of them on their birthdays, and besides may is the kinda unoffical start to summer for me, thats when its warmer and sunnier, Thanks for hosting this wonderful giveawayMay 1, 2009 – 3:34 pm
