The Smithsonian has a collection of the some of the earliest driving directions. When there were no street names or route numbers, it was a picture book.

He doesn't give actionable avcide, he's an economic scientist that gives an unbiased realistic prognosis free from delusion, pessimism, optimism or self interest of what risks he feels based on the EVIDENCE of what lies ahead. His job is to piece together a macro prognosis based on the statistics he and his team analyses. Whether you choose to listen to him is another matter. I'd rather listen to someone whose business it is to make money, because I'm either thick, lazy or gullible
