Nestle has put – basically a quickie-mart – on a barge that it is driving upriver in the remotest Amazon. It’s loaded with 300 products that are not likely to be available in those areas, like “chocolate, yogurt, ice cream, and juices”.
Many people who hold lattes and complain that they’re so stressed because they work harder than their great-grandparents did will no doubt be miffed. Of course, Firesign Theatre had these people pegged 4 decades ago:
There's a lot of young people in this country, just like myself, who really know where the Indian's at. And don't worry. Soon we're all gonna be out here on the Reservation, livin' like Indians, 'n' dressin' like Indians and doing all the simple, beautiful things that you Indians do. Hey - got any peyote?

Avon has been doing this for some years so I hear. The doorbell ladies gettng into canoes and going upriver.
Don't know, but that's what I've heard.

That's an interesting addition.
In truth, this was a post I wrote about 2 years ago that I found in my drafts. It still seemed interesting, so I posted it.
