Consider the last panel of today’s Sally Forth comic:
The Republicans version of “who we are” is that they are the party of reducing government spending, cutting taxes, and reining in entitlements.
The reality of “what we do” is that over the last decade the Republicans have been the party that just as happy to raise spending, that needed a leftist President to get their tax cuts made permanent, and has done nothing but make the entitlement problem worse.
