Penn and Teller once asked folks on the street to sign a petition to ban dihydrogen oxide because it’s in everything.
In the same vein, would you eat something that contained:
- Ethyl Butanoate
- Pentyl Acetate
- Ethene (that’s a dead giveaway)
- Linolenic Acid
- Oxalic Acid (this used to be in pool cleaners)
I am speculating, but I’d bet there are a lot of people who would not.
Unfortunately, these are some of the things found in bananas.
But, bananas get a free pass from our government (and environmental lobbyists) that doesn’t want ingredient labels put on them.
