It’s this basic:
Amps are what you’re getting down the wire. They do the work.
Volts are how hard the amps are being pushed. Amps don’t move unless you shove them, and they don’t do work without being moved.
Resistance is measured in ohms. Everything has resistance to the volts pushing the amps along. Depending on the material, sometimes it’s more and sometimes it’s less.
Too bad there is no diagram for a capacitor.
