Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) draws a key conclusion about the Kelo vs. New London decision in his column at MSNBC:
It used to be that tax revenues were to be spent promoting the public good. Now, apparently, they're a public good in and of themselves.
And we always thought that Govt. represents public. Now Govt. is an utility-maximizing individual in its own right.
